About Our Company
Born on Vancouver Island, all three owners share a deep-rooted passion for serving the local community. With a collective commitment to keeping our operations close to home, we’ve honed our expertise over the years. We source as much Canadian material as possible. Our organization size allows us to take on projects of any scale while maintaining the personalized touch of a second-generation family business. Since our establishment in 1991 by Stephen Pal, this ethos has been at the heart of everything we do, driving our dedication to quality and community.
Ownership Group
Michael Pal, CEO
With a lifelong connection to Ceanesse, Michael's journey began in the shop, observing his father, the company's founder. His passion for business management led him to pursue his BBA in Accounting, followed by a CPA designation. After gaining valuable experience in financial roles outside the company, Michael returned to Ceanesse in 2021 as Assistant Controller. In 2023, he took on the role of CEO, bringing strategic vision and leadership to the company's growth and development.
Chris Strasbourg - GM, Victoria
A Victoria native, Chris brings decades of cabinet industry expertise along with an extensive background in leadership and process management. Chris joined Ceanesse in 2020 as the Plant Foreman before taking on the General Manager of Victoria role. His commitment to excellence is a driving force in Ceanesse's innovation of operations.
John Andrews, GM -Nanaimo
With over three decades of experience in the woodworking industry on Vancouver Island, John brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as General Manager. Joining Ceanesse in 2015, John has been instrumental in the company's growth and success. His leadership in expanding operations to Nanaimo reflects his commitment to excellence and dedication to serving our clients.
